Today, June 17th Revolve Theatre Company opens A Number, by Caryl Churchill, its fourth production, directed by YDP Artistic Director James Rayfield and starring YDP Director Chris Jackson and Tampa Bay favorite Steve Garland.

"A Number" is a 2002 play that addresses the subject of human cloning and identity, especially nature versus nurture. The story, set in the near future, is structured around the conflict between a father (Salter) and his sons (Bernard 1, Bernard 2, and Michael Black) – two of whom are clones of the first – when they are 35 and 40 years old.

You may remember Revolve Theatre Company for their co-productions with Gorilla Theatre of Far Away (also by Caryl Churchill) and most recently Gas and Candles, a comedy about an elderly couple who hold themselves hostage.

Revolve's production of A Number by Caryl Churchill will be performed at the Studio@620, 620 1st Avenue South in lovely Saint Petersburg, Florida. Make your reservations now—$5 off with advance reservation. General Admission $35. Students and Seniors: $25. Call 727-895-6620 or go online at www.studio620.org.
