Before the first annual Toys for Tots concert held last year, Deborah Nader of Richard Nader Entertainment was stopped at a red light during the Christmas Holiday and saw a man holding a sign that read, "I am a homeless father. Please help me give my children a Christmas." Nader was inspired to help the multitude of families who have to be more concerned with keeping a roof over their heads than buying toys for their children. The show was a huge success last year. Not only did everyone who came to the show leave with a smile on their face but also so many children who may have not had gifts were treated to two truckloads of toys and a sizable cash donation. Nader has again invite the Marines to bring their boxes to fill them with toys. And so on November 24th, Marines and Music come together to kick off the Holiday season again for the second annual Rock and Roll concert that will benefit Toys for Tots. Whenever there is a need to pull together to help those less fortunate, entertainers and Marines are on the front line.

Performing at The Palladium:
Tommy Mara and the Crests “Sixteen Candles”
The Mystics “Hushabye”
Johnny Thunder “Loop De Loop”
and special guest The Impacs

In addition to a cash donation to Toys for Tots, Nader has assembled a gift basket valued at more than $500 as her way of saying thank you to audience members who bring new unwrapped toys. Children receiving these toys may not know the artists or these songs but indirectly listening to Tommy Mara will ensure that a lot of youngsters will have smiles on their faces on Christmas morning. Tickets ($30, $40, and $100 which includes a private VIP wine reception with the artists) can be ordered by calling 727-822-3590 or online at www.spcollege.edu/palladium. Richard Nader Entertainment will also present a check to Toys for Tots.
