Manhattan Theatre Club just presented its annual Spring Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street. The evening included performances by the casts of many of this Broadway season’s most acclaimed musicals, including Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, Days of Wine and Roses, The Great Gatsby, The Notebook, The Outsiders, The Who’s Tommy, and Water For Elephants. The award for best musical went to Dead Outlaw, music and lyrics by David Yazbek and Erik Della Penna, book by Itamar Moses. The selections were made at the organization’s 88th annual voting meeting.

The Outer Critics Circle, the official organization of writers on New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers and national publications, announced the winners of the 2024 Outer Critics Circle Awards. Check out the Full List of winners here!

Now with a record-breaking 13 Tony Award nominations, Sony Masterworks Broadway has released 2 new songs, “Masquerade” and “Bright v1” from the Original Cast Recording of Stereophonic. To celebrate being the most Tony-nominated play ever, the cast of Stereophonic performed “Masquerade” last night on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Listen to the newly released songs here!

The 39th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards will be presented at the annual ceremony which will take place tonight, Sunday, May 5, 2024, at NYU Skirball beginning at 7:00pm. See the winners as they come in here!
